- Test Planning
The successful approach of
Solution Works partners is based upon the belief that the secret to effective application testing
is to build the test plan into the project life cycle. This means that the Test Plan is developed during
requirements definition and becomes a thread throughout each phase of the
development process. We make Test Planning a separate and distinct task in which
the strategy for testing is established and the test entry and completion
criteria are determined.
- Test Case Design and Test Data Generation
Following the thread established by the Test Plan, our
methodology dictates that test cases be created during application analysis and
design. During code construction, reusable test scripts and test data are
generated. The test scripts are executed and the results analyzed during actual
testing. Our approach employs both black box and white box methods to ensure
testing thoroughness.
- System Testing
Solution Works and our partners approach System Testing with the objective of proving that
the tested application meets its original objectives as stated in the
requirements specification. However, proving that it meets the requirement is
not enough; we also proceed to prove that the application cannot be made to
fail.
- User Acceptance Testing

User Acceptance Testing process which compares the finished product to end
user needs. This is a critical activity since user and business requirements
