| Digital
Subscriber Line (DSL) technology is an advanced broadband
access method that uses ordinary, copper telephone lines to
carry high-bandwidth, two-way data, voice and video
communications. |
| Frame Relay
Services is a high performance interface for
packet-switching networks, handling "bursty"
communications with rapidly changing bandwidth
requirements. If you need a lot of bandwidth on Monday,
and not as much on Tuesday, this could be the way to go. |
| Integrated
Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a standard for sending
high-speed voice, video, and data communication over telephone
wires. In the future, DSL is replacing this standard. |
| Leased Lines
(T1, T2, T3) is a leased telephone line at data transfer
rates of a given digital phone line. T1 - 1.544Mbps; T2= up to
6.312 Mbps; T3 - up to 43Mbps. |
